Blockchain Integration in Supply Chain Management: Innovations in Transparency and Security
Abstract
Blockchain technology has emerged as a transformative tool in supply chain management, offering enhanced transparency, traceability, and security across global supply chains. This paper explores the integration of blockchain technology in supply chain management, focusing on its potential to innovate and address key challenges, such as fraud, data tampering, inefficiencies, and the lack of transparency. By providing a distributed, immutable ledger system, blockchain has the potential to revolutionize how supply chains are managed by offering real-time visibility, strengthening security protocols, and improving efficiency through smart contracts. This paper examines case studies of blockchain integration in different industries, analyzes the technical challenges and potential risks, and discusses future prospects for blockchain in building more resilient and transparent supply chain systems.
